New Midland Group
Branding Pitch
The New Midland Group is a consortium of three artist-led organisations: Backlit, One Thoresby Street and Primary. All of whom support the development of art and culture in Nottingham, by providing spaces for both the production and display of artwork. The original Midland Group – formed in 1943 – was a centre for progressive and experimental visual art in Nottingham, and as an organisation had a profound affect on the development of performance and live art nationally, before closing in 1987.

Working around the theme of building an artist led 'network' between the three independently run spaces, I created a brand identity which encompasses the theme of connectivity using a tri-colour palette.
