Email and Social Media Campaign for Sports Direct

#OneStepAhead is an email campaign launched by Sports Direct showcasing the trending trainers of the week. During this project I led on the art direction and graphic design of the email within a team composed of a copywriter, marketing executive and photographer.

Classic, romantic, marble textures, and pale, nude colours informed the design of the email and photo-shoot in order to channel the essence of Valentine’s day (around which time the campaign ran) without resorting to any cliched symbolism. A simple layout and serif type promotes a premium feel; elevating the brands and products featured, whilst the recurring black heart bullet point provides a subtle nod

to the holiday.
